New York School of Homeopathy
Curriculum
The New York School of Homeopathy offers a comprehensive three-year professional training program in classical homeopathy. A fourth year is available for students who want to earn additional clinic hours.
Program Overview
All classes are held live online and are highly interactive. The curriculum integrates classical homeopathic philosophy with contemporary clinical methods.
Foundation Year (Year 1)
Year 1 lays a solid foundation in the principles of classical homeopathy:
- Homeopathic philosophy and Organon of Medicine
- Introduction to Materia Medica — the study of individual remedies
- Repertory — how to find the correct remedy for a patient
- Anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Case-taking fundamentals
- Acutes: prescribing for acute conditions
Second & Third Years — Clinical Training
Years 2 and 3 bring everything together with advanced casework and intensive clinical training. Students work with real patients in the NYSH Student Clinic, supervised by senior practitioners.
- Advanced Materia Medica — expanded study of the remedy kingdom
- Advanced case analysis and case management
- Supervised student clinic
- Guest instructor seminars with internationally recognized homeopaths
- Annual clinical workshop in Negril, Jamaica
- Mentorship and study group support
Fourth Year (Optional)
A fourth year is available for students who wish to earn additional supervised clinic hours toward professional certification requirements.
Certification
Graduates of the three-year program receive the NYSH Diploma in Classical Homeopathy. This diploma qualifies graduates to sit for the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) exam for the C.C.H. credential.
1-Year Certificate Program
For those who want a solid introduction to homeopathy without committing to the full three-year program, we also offer a 1-Year Certificate option covering the Foundation Year.
